Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program. June 2nd to August 1st. Sign up begins May 12th (at the library or print off a form from our website or Facebook page!). Special programs/guests: Jeff Quinn, Magician; Chloe Burgett, Illustrator; VR Truck.Launch the media gallery 1 player

Step 1: Register! Print and fill out the above form (one for each child) or pick one up at the library.

Step 2: Read! Earn prizes by tracking time spent reading or getting a bingo.

Step 3: Come to our programs! We will have activities at the library every Tuesday, as well as Story Time on Monday and Wednesday - all at 10:30 a.m. Plus, we have Pajama Story Time on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Stay tuned for more info on Thursdays/Fridays!

 

Jeff Quinn's Magic Show. May 30th, 2:30 p.m., Wahoo Civic Center. Magic kits for sale after the show for $10.

Chloe Burgett's Summer at the Library. Wahoo Library, June 5, 10:30 a.m. Hear a real-life children's book illustrator read one of her books, talk about her arty job, then draw a picture together! Featuring Chloe's newest book! Written by Gina Bellisario: Camp Grandma and Grandpa.

VR Truck. Monday, June 16th, 3:30-6:30. Spots are limited; please register at the library with your time slot preference: 3:30, 4:30, or 5:30. We will do our best to get you in your preferred spot. Register by June 13th. If we have more than 72 kids sign up we will move to 30 minute sessions.

Schedule. Mondays: Story Time 10:30 a.m.; Tuesdays: Arts and Crafts (kindergarten to 5th grade, 10:30 a.m., Pajama story time 6:30 p.m.; Wednesdays: Story Time 10:30 a.m.; Thursdays/Fridays: more info to come (we are trying to add in some of the Kids Summer Institute classes).
